Biweekly Update #1 (April 12, 2026 - April 26, 2026): Disclosure Page and Trying Out Bliish
May 02, 2026
As mentioned before, I am trying a biweekly update schedule to strike a good balance between frequency and quantity of content. Therefore, I am restarting the numbering of this series at 1.
This Week’s Topics
- Adding a Disclosure page
- Trying Out Blish: Initial Thoughts
Adding a Disclosure Page
Browsing Through Life is my personal website, but I still felt like I should add a Disclosure page. It is essentially a page that describes how my website behaves and the things you need to keep in mind while using my site in terms of privacy and the terms and conditions.
I don’t think it’s super serious since this is a personal website after all. However, I value transparency, so I feel like this page is needed to communicate my expectations. You can find it at browsingthroughlife.com/disclosure or by finding the Disclosure link in the footer of this website.
If you have any questions or comments, please let me know.
Trying Out Bliish: Initial Thoughts
Bliish is a social media network created to recreate the nostalgic social media experience of the early 2010s. I’ve been trying it out for a bit, and in terms of the look and feel, I do think it accomplishes that. On the About page, it promises things like no algorithms, no ads, and good vibes only. I will create a full review later, but for now, it looks promising.
Loose Thoughts
- Unfortunately, I did not get a beta key to try out the MapleStory classic beta. However, it seems that many of the people who were invited are enjoying the game. This is promising at least. There are a few critiques that I saw here and there, so hopefully Nexon takes that into account and updates the game accordingly.
Media Log
- I’m playing Dokapon Kingdom 2 with my friends. Think Mario Party, but probability-based and really evil. I wouldn’t want to be approached by a doctor and then slapped with a 5-figure bill, especially.
- GunZ: The Duel launched another playtest session after numerous reports of connectivity issues from players who wanted to play but weren’t able to do so. This would be the fourth beta playtest. It feels the same with some minor changes, but connectivity issues are still present.
